Solar Rigs
NEW! Solar Thermal Training Rigs
Built in conjunction with the UK manufacturers of The Ecotube.
Built with training centres in mind who have developed MCS accredited courses for solar training the two rigs consist of;
- A drain back system utilising a flat plate to acknowledge it. (DBSOLAR)
- A direct flow (DF) evacuated tube system featuring the Ecotube to show how easy it is to fit and install (DFSOLAR)
They are conveniently sized rigs on wheels to allow for storage and mobility within different areas of the training room.
They have also been designed to move through a standard door opening.
The evacuated tube rig is designed for familiarisation of a sealed system solar kit and the direct flow (DF)
The Flat plate drain back system is to allow for fault finding.
Full size direct flow (DF) kits are available for mounting on dummy roofs for hands on experience.
Full Assessment would require a full size solar kit. This would enable trainees to practice mounting and removing the equipment from a dummy roof.
